Look out for those sharks!
They sat outside on the house boat in the Potomac River as they watched the sunset. Sarah said how
much she loved living on the water. The water was calm and silent but then all
of a sudden it started to make a ripple. They turned and looked out into the
water when they saw a shark swimming towards them. Grace jumped up and ran
inside to get help. There family all ran outside to see. Then Sarah ran inside
and grabbed a handful of dead baby fish. When she walked back out the shark was
circling the boat and then the rest of the family went and got a handful of fish
as well. They all threw the fish as far as they could to lead the shark away.
“It’s working!” Grace said. “The shark is leaving!” Sarah said in reply. Once
the shark was gone they pulled the anchor up and drove the boat to find a new
place with no sharks, and open, quite, and safe area. Later that night they
found a place that was very nice so they put the anchor down into the water.
They all lived without seeing any sharks for the rest of the time that they
lived in the Potomac River. They all lived a nice and happy shark free
life.
